Do I need a coached plan or a PDF?
It depends! Gold & Silver plans offer check ins and feedback on your training. Bronze plans are customized plans but delivered to the athlete via a PDF. Coach D will not review your workouts on a Bronze plan or offer check ins. Examples of how athletes utilize Bronze plans include: maintenance miles or foundation plans, Military PFT training (1.5 mile, push ups, etc) or strength training.
When should I schedule a consultation?
It is never too early to chat with Coach D about your training goals. It is best to connect with a Coach 1-2 months before you plan to begin training. This helps to ensure that a coach has room on their roster. It is very common for coaches to fill their coaching rosters months before the beginning of the training season.
I'm new to running, do I need a Gold or Silver plan?
It depends! How much accountability or feedback do you need? Are you someone that loves to check off boxes and doesn't require a lot of changes or modifications (aka you have a pretty consistent life). If so - Silver would be a perfect start! Gold is great for new and advanced athletes looking for weekly feedback and plan adjustments.
I'm thinking Silver but I want to have a pre race strategy call, is that possible?
Absolutely! Athletes on Silver plans can purchase a strategy call here. You will still receive a written strategy for your race as part of your Silver plan, based on your training. Athletes can opt to add a pre race call with their Coach.
Do Gold, Silver, and Bronze run coaching plans include strength training?
YES! All run coaching plans include lower body and core strength for runners as part of their training plan. During your intake call, your Coach will assess which exercises will be best for you as part of your training. The exercises included are not total body but are designed to support your running. Athletes looking for total body strength training can include Get Strong Finish Strong or bundle with Custom Strength Training.
Does my plan include nutrition and fueling advice?
Yes! All run coaching plans provide guidelines and suggestions for fueling your runs and preparation for race day. For athletes looking to take a deeper dive into their nutrition, they can add a Nutrition Strategy Session to their training or add Nutrition Coaching (bundle discount applies to nutrition coaching).
I'm not training for a race, would I benefit from run coaching?
YES! Running is more than one pace. Hiring a running coach can help you to run more efficiently, run longer, and run stronger. A running coach can be like hiring a personal trainer, having someone to set your workouts at the paces that work for you and your goals.
I just had a baby, is it safe to return to running?
Congrats! Return to running postpartum is an individual journey, Coach D encourages moms to return to running as they are ready (and no your 6 week check up is not the go ahead to dive back into your pre-pregnancy workouts). Coach D is a Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism Certified Coach, coaching not just workouts but you through your new season of life. There is no fear mongering here when we are returning to running - together we will train smart for our goals.

Welcome to the team! Once Coach D receives your commitment you'll receive access to your training plan via Training Tilt. Your coach will let you know when your training plan is available to view. All plans allow athletes to see 7 days into the future, so you may need to wait a bit before you can see your plan. Be sure to complete your new athlete registration so Coach D has all important information for your training!
When will I receive my athlete touch-base?
Gold and Silver level athletes will receive an athlete check in on the 20th of the month.
